Looking back on 2007, the best marketing decision API made was to join the GPHA. The many network events, award luncheons and awesome golf outing were perfect settings to interact with the very friendly Allied Members and Hotel Professionals. This past year we have completed 3 large hotel FF&E projects and already have 4 new hotel projects on the books for 08. GPHA is a fantastic Association and we are very proud to be part of such a great organization. |

By joining the Greater Philadelphia Hotel Association as an Allied member, you will receive the following benefits:
Buyer's Guide and Website
The Buyers Guide is a comprehensive listing of the GPHA membership. The guide is printed once a year and distributed to all Hotel and Allied members. For even more exposure, ads are also sold in this book. In addition to the Buyer's Guide, Allied members' company name, services and website link will appear on the GPHA Website.
Access to Hotel Property Database
Allied members have access to GPHA's database of member hotel properties for telemarketing or direct mail campaigns of the General Manager, Director of Sales, Director of Purchasing, Human Resources Director, Executive Housekeeper, etc.
Hospitality Trade Show
The GPHA Trade Show is a great opportunity for Allied members to network with purchasing decision makers from the hotels. All department heads from the GPHA hotel membership are invited.
Sponsorship Opportunities
(Such as the GPHA Golf Outing, Stars of the Industry, Our Philadelphia, the Heart of Philadelphia Awards Luncheon, or Hotel Olympics) Put your products and services in front of a larger audience. Allied members can sponsor GPHA events and programs and have the company name on all event literature and have exposure to many different hospitality companies throughout the Delaware Valley. Each of the events is well attended and also provides a great networking opportunity to Allied Members. Opportunities for every marketing budget are available. Networking Receptions and Events
Allied members can meet and talk with general managers, purchasing directors, housekeeping directors, chief engineers and other key staff at many GPHA-sponsored receptions and events held throughout the year, including two special receptions specifically designed for Allied members.
Education and Training
GPHA offers a wide range of training programs to include AH & LA Educational Institute courses, First Aid and CPR courses, and ServSafe training at reduced member rates. Allied members are invited to participate in these courses. For a complete list, click here.
Discounted Hotel Rooms
Allied members are eligible for discounted hotel rooms throughout the Delaware Valley.
Based on availability, GPHA Allied members can participate in GPHA's reduced rate program which is available to all members. This program is based on participation from member hotels and availability.
Committee Participation
Allied members can join GPHA's Allied committee, which meets to achieve common goals and to work for increased Allied participation. If you are interested in joining this committee, please contact Suzanne Geyer at Sue@PhiladelphiaHotelAssoc.org.
